Physiotherapists understand how the body moves, what keeps it from moving well and how to restore mobility. Working as part of a health-care team or independently, physiotherapists strive to improve the health and mobility of their patients. They can also advise on ways to prevent health problems from occurring before they arise.

A centre of education, research and clinical excellence, Dalhousie’s School of Physiotherapy offers three graduate programs:

• MSc (Physiotherapy) (Entry to Practice)
• MSc (Rehabilitation Research —Physiotherapy) (Research)
• PhD (Interdisciplinary — Research)

Successful, waitlisted and unsuccessful applicants will receive notification about their application status Monday, May 14 through Friday, May 18, 2012. The waitlist for the September 2012 incoming class will remain open until Monday, September 10.

The application deadline for our Fall 2013 enrollment is January 31, 2013.
