Program requirements

Students registered in the program will be expected to obtain a minimum of five credits: two credits for the thesis and six half-credits for class work.

Class work 

Three half-credits are obtained by taking required courses in Research Design and Biostatistics, Instrumentation and Measurement in Physiotherapy Research and a Foundations seminar. The other three half-credit elective classes will be selected based on the individual program of study approved by the Supervisory Committee. Graduate students are also expected to attend and participate in Physiotherapy Research Seminars.

Residency

It is expected that students can complete the coursework within the first year. An additional year is expected to complete the thesis. Part of the residency period may, with permission, include time off campus.
