The faculty at the School of Physiotherapy take their research responsibilities seriously and recognize the value of their research to the profession and the community at large. Faculty in the school have extensive research collaborations with local, provincial, national and international ties including health centres, academic institutions and research institutes. Research within the School is supported with funding from government and non-government agencies including CIHR, NSERC, HSFC, CFI, NSHRF as well as a number of other provincial and local funding agencies.
Clinical outcome measures coupled with advanced technologies answer critical questions in the field of rehabilitation. MSc and PhD students engage in a variety of research projects creating a diverse atmosphere of scientific enquiry.
